Smoking
In 1987 when I was 40 years old, I quit smoking from my 2 packs a day habit...
Why did I want to do this?
Basically, I did not want cigarettes controlling my life anymore, in fact, I did not want ANYTHING controlling my life which is not that easy to accomplish so smoking was the easiest first target/goal.
I quit COLD TURKEY...
How did I do that?
It was all mental with determination, focus, and discipline.
The morning of my 40th birthday, I woke up with 7 cigarettes in the pack and knew that I could not wasteful and simply throw them away... so, after they were smoked, I STOPPED.
In 6 months or so, I had gained 30 pounds and since I did not have the extra cash to buy new clothes, I did some research and discovered a way to lose weight by counting my daily intact of FAT GRAMS.
I about another 6-9 months, I had lost my 30 pounds without exercise...
I have been SMOKE FREE for 32 years now...
